In 2006 Piaggio turned the scooter world upside down. With the Piaggio MP3, they presented a completely new vehicle concept that had never been seen before.

Two tiltable front wheels make the MP3 a special representative of its guild. First, it can be driven more strongly inclined and thus faster in curves. Secondly, the third wheel provides more stability and traction, as well as a shorter braking distance. All this comes without giving up the dynamics of a scooter.

Thirdly, the bulky scooter has a reverse gear (in the largest version also with rear view camera), which makes parking the more than 400 kilograms weighing companion immensely easier.

Fourthly, the MP3, which is well equipped with a 300-, 400- and 530-cubic-centimeter engine, can be operated without a driver's license for motorcycles in Austria. A B driving license is sufficient for it.

Not every scooter fan is enthusiastic about the MP3, nevertheless it has enjoyed great popularity for 15 years.
